2014 WICHITA JAZZ FESTIVAL - April 23-26

This April 23-26, the Wichita Jazz Festival will be featuring a festival centered around percussion. Joining us this year will be the Matt Wilson Quartet, featuring Chris Lightcap on bass, Jeff Lederer on Tenor Saxophone and Clarinet, Kirk Knuffke on cornet, and of course WSU's own Matt Wilson on drumset.

Also on the week's concert list is NYC drummer Allison Miller, who brings the heat with her incredible band Boom Tic Boom, this time featuring the incredible Gary Versace.

We also have a few other things in the works that we hope to be able to announce soon.

We are also expanding WJF activities to include regular weekly concert evenings around the Wichita area, and other featured concerts throughout the year. There are both concert events and educational activities available to both listeners, players, and students of jazz.

Check out our events page for what's happening this week and beyond in Wichita!

Thank you as always for your continued support!
